How to Use Vietnamese Rice Paper
Step1.Prepare Rice Paper
Preparing rice paper is simple:
- Fill a large plate or shallow bowl with warm water.
- Dip one sheet of rice paper into the water for about 3–5 seconds.
- Remove it and place it on a clean cutting board or damp towel.
- Wait another 20–30 seconds until it becomes soft and pliable.
Avoid soaking it for too long, as it will continue softening after being removed S
Step2. 1: Fresh Vietnamese Spring Rolls
Fresh spring rolls are one of the most popular ways to enjoy rice paper.
Suggested fillings include:
- Cooked shrimp
- Rice noodles
- Lettuce
- Cucumber
- Carrots
- Fresh herbs such as mint and cilantro
Simply place the fillings in the middle, fold the sides inward, and roll tightly. Serve with peanut sauce or LGM crispy chili sauce. For myself, my favourite dipping Sauce is LKK Sweet HOSIN Sauce. It is really good to have the Rice Paper together with Sweet HOSIN Sauce.
